The University of North Georgia Center for Entrepreneurship and MDD Holdings, Inc. are excited to bring you the 2017 StartItUp Challenge. Pitch your new business venture and you could win up to $10,000 in prize money as well as access to funding sources, mentoring and other support services.
Participants must be either students/faculty/staff of the University of North Georgia and/or entrepreneurs within Fannin, Lumpkin, Gilmer, Hall, Dawson or Forsyth counties in the state of Georgia. Any new venture idea must also be ready for startup! Existing business owners may compete, but must be less than three years old and have less than $500,000 in annual revenue.
Cash prizes will be granted to the winners of the Championship Challenge Round of the competition as follows – 1st place $10,000, 2nd place $5,000 and 3rd place $2,500.
