At its inaugural Awards Ceremony on May 12, Startup Atlanta honored Grace Fricks for her vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and leadership. “Being recognized for work I am passionate about — supporting businesses with capital, coaching and connections — how great is that?” stated Grace. The Atlanta Startup Awards recognize the city’s most successful rising tech companies, startup pioneers, and disruptive innovators. Choosing Grace as an award recipient fits ideally within these categories. In 2016, 38% of ACE loans were given to startups, creating 224 jobs.
State Rep. Dar’shun Kendrick also presented her with a special resolution recognizing her unparalleled record of community service to Georgia and a certificate from Secretary of State, Brian Kemp, proclaiming her an Outstanding Georgia Citizen!
