Lynn Sizemore serves as a Loan Operations Specialist for ACE.
She prepares paperwork for loan closings, orders title work and appraisals, provides monthly and quarterly reporting, and perfects collateral such as deeds, UCC’s and titles. “Pretty much anything to do with a loan is done in our area,” she says.
Prior to joining ACE, Sizemore, who grew up in Gainesville, worked for Regions Bank for 20 years in loan operations and 10 years as a loan assistant.
When her job at Regions was downsized earlier last year, she decided to take a break for the summer and relax. A friend at Regions in Cleveland told her about an opening at ACE, though. “Honestly, I thought he meant Ace Hardware,” she says, “so I said, no thank you. He then told me more about ACE and urged me to check out the company’s website.”
She submitted her resume in April. “In my mind, I was just scoping it out, but after the interview, I knew it was a perfect fit for me,” she says, “I love the atmosphere, and I love the people. We since have become family.”
As for her noticeable sense of style around the office, Sizemore maintains that she is a “girlie girl.” “I like pretty clothes, perfume, and jewelry.”
Sizemore has been married to her husband, Kenny, for 31 years. They have two sons, Corban, 23, who works for the U.S. Postal Service in Cumming, and Cameron who is a sophomore at White County High School. Her family also has a rescued dog named “Dodge.” She comes from a large clan with one brother and four sisters.
“My sisters and I are very competitive with each other,” she says, “Doesn’t matter what kind, whether it’s making daddy’s biscuits, losing weight, or diving competitions. We always have fun and we are all competitive.”
During her down time, she enjoys relaxing with her family, traveling to the Gulf of Mexico (“I love the white sand”), and dining on Italian cuisine. “I enjoy playing in the pool, tending to my flowers, and watching Friday night football wherever Cameron is playing,” she says. “I really love it when my family members get together. I feel very close to them.”
