How do you create a green brand and message for your new or existing green microenterprise program? Green messaging can be a powerful way to differentiate your nonprofit and products and services in the market and inspire employees, clients and stakeholders.
In this free webinar we will discuss the benefits of creating a strong and separate identity for your green microenterprise program. Specifically, we will:
– define sustainability as an outcome for your work
– build client awareness of green as viable strategy
– attract new funding
– engage new partners
– and more
We will walk you through a process to define your green initiative:
– who, what, where, how (target market info and ideas)
– different approaches (examples) – broad vs sector, multi-purpose vs single
– financing and TA mix
We will highlight emerging leaders in the field that are “doing it right” in terms of their branding, messaging and marketing!
The webinar will be led by Liz Penney of Appalachian Community Enterprises, Inc., an SBA Microlender and CDFI. ACE has created Georgia Green Loans, an innovative statewide platform for green loans. She will be joined by Jason Friedman, Principal of Friedman Associates. He is a nationally known for his expertise in helping microenterprise development, CDCs, and CDFIs to increase effectiveness, performance and sustainability.
The webinars are funded in part through a grant award with the U.S. Small Business Administration Program for Investments in Microentrepreneurs Program (PRIME).
