The Hofbrauhaus River Front Hotel & International Restaurant serves as one of the most popular and enduring landmarks in Helen, overlooking the scenic Chattahoochee River.
For 25 years, the hotel and restaurant complex has served a menu of international cuisine and gemütlichkeit, or social revelry. The colorful Alpine-themed building needed some updated renovations and a facelift, though, so Ashvin and Sheila Patel stepped in.
The bank could lend 80% of the appraised value or purchase price of the building, whichever was less. ACE and SSBCI then financed 11% of the total project cost. Now the Hofbrauhaus is ready for a rollicking Oktoberfest.
The Patels employ four full-time and two part-time staff.
