We are pleased to announce that ACE Client, Ardina Pierre, was recognized as the 2022 Small Business Person of the Year by the Small Business Administration (SBA).
Pierre, who is a Registered Nurse and licensed nutritionist, is owner of Nature’s Own Herb Shop Inc., which has been providing natural whole foods, nutritional and body care products, and expert advice in Atlanta for over 20 years. She has been a client of ACE since 2012, acquiring several loans to improve and expand her business. In 2017, she received an SBA-backed loan to improve her building’s energy, further reducing costs and lowering energy consumption. In 2020, she opened a second location with the help of the SBA.
ACE recognized Pierre as the 2019 Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at its annual ACE Awards, and she has also been recognized by the Atlanta Business League as one of Atlanta’s Top 100 Black Women of Influence. Additionally, she is a member of ACE’s High Performing Group, a cohort of women entrepreneurs displaying a historical growth pattern with revenues near or exceeding $500,000.
Nature’s Own Herb Shop is also celebrating 25 years being in business this year. We’re very proud of Ardina and her many accomplishments!
