ACE Women’s Business Center (WBC) Director Sandra Font and Program Coordinator Alejandra Diaz have earned a name that small businesses and our SBA family can trust!!

The SBA Georgia District Office is excited about what our Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs Women’s Business Center is achieving in our local district area.

Under the leadership of Director Sandra Font, ACE WBC stood ready, prepared, to meet change and uncertainty in the COVID-19 State of National Emergency.

Over the past three years, ACE WBC Director Sandra Font and Program Coordinator Alejandra Diaz, a small army of two (2), have built a culture of innovation and collaboration.

On the front lines, as Point Woman, Director Font assisted in the translation of SBA COVID-19 recovery information for the Hispanic speaking population that they serve.  In addition, Mrs. Font conducted counseling and training on SBA’s Debt Relief /Recovery programs (EIDL and PPP) both in English and Spanish.

Prior to COVID19, to improve outreach and services to women owned small businesses in Georgia, the very skillful and proficient Mrs. Diaz had already taken outdated ACE WBC systems, and updated them using new programs; creative processes, and relevant technology.

Sandra and Alejandra’s active involvement and attention to day to day operations, both fluent in Spanish, proved to be a BIG payoff, especially for the Hispanic population, facing hurdles and economic challenges, during this critical time.

ACE’s WBC staff combined hard work and commitment to service can be seen directly in the many benefits that ACE WBC provides to our Georgia small business community; from January 2017 – August 2020, serving a whopping 6,486 small businesses in Georgia.

Mrs. Font and Mrs. Diaz’s work at ACE WBC involves the highest level of responsibility – servant leadership; and they well deserve a ‘just reward’ for providing SBA with the greatest labor of unselfish service.

Although the ACE WBC’s accomplishments are reflected in the ‘EXCEED GOALS” mid-year and end-year annual written reports, both Sandra Font and Alejandra Diaz should be specially recognized for ALL that they have done to enhance the lives of others!!!

Who can find a virtuous woman?  For her price is far above rubies – Proverbs 31:10.

This WBC has joined forces and continues to work diligently with various community organizations, including federal, state, local government entities, as well as other SBA Resource Partners to cover all grounds, expand essential services and empower small businesses to face uncertainty with hope!

The work that ACE WBC performs has proven to have significant impact in Georgia; helping to not only rebuild small businesses, but change lives and further the mission of our respective organizations.

Thanks to ACE Women’s Business Center, more than ever before, SBA Means Business in Georgia.
