ACE | Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs is pleased to announce our collaboration with Starbucks to highlight Black business owners during Black History Month.
During the month of February, the stories and products of three remarkable ACE entrepreneurs will take center stage across more than 250 Starbucks locations throughout Metropolitan Atlanta.

- Amber Tellis, owner of Kaylee Cake Pops and More
The ACE – Starbucks Alliance
As Georgia’s largest nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) focused on addressing the capital needs of small businesses, ACE understands that removing barriers to capital is critical to the success of entrepreneurs- particularly businesses owned by women and people of color. This understanding and unwavering goal led to ACE being selected to join other CDFI’s in originating loans to support equity and economic growth in the communities it serves, made possible by funding from Starbucks. This capital to qualified business owners provides the support and resources they need, allowing them to create their own success by building sustainable businesses, breaking the cycle of poverty, supporting their families, and invigorating their communities.
How to Engage:
Discover our featured ACE businesses on Starbucks’ in-store Community Boards where you can learn more about the journeys of these inspiring entrepreneurs through QR codes which will be on display. Read about their incredible ventures and, better yet, make a purchase to directly support these thriving businesses.
Share the Excitement:
ACE encourages you to visit one of the participating Starbucks stores in the metro Atlanta area tocapture the moment with photos and share the experience on social media. Don’t forget to use one or more of the tags below, to spread the word far and wide!

Celebrating these businesses is not just about acknowledging their success; it’s about recognizing their profound impact on the Atlanta community, a hub for Black businesses. Emphasizing Black owned businesses amplifies voices that have historically been marginalized, creating a more inclusive business landscape. It’s an opportunity to foster economic empowerment, inspire future entrepreneurs, and highlight the rich diversity within our local business ecosystem.
