Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs, Inc. (ACE), founded Georgia Green Loans in 2008 to help small Georgia businesses “green-ovate.” Due to the growing importance of green business practices and industry opportunities, CEO and President Grace Fricks decided to make the program available beyond the 34 North Georgia counties generally served by ACE. ACE provides Green Loans in North Georgia and Metro Atlanta, and the U.S. Small Business Administration has provided the first round of investment. Other lending partners are providing Green Loans in the remainder of the state.
