Coffee Man Coffee House was founded in 2019 by owners Devin Hunter and Nicholas Lopez. The company is based in Chamblee/Decatur, GA and primarily focuses on wholesale products including bottled cold brew coffee, whole bean coffee, ground coffee, and DIY cold brew coffee kits. Coffee Man brews and bottles cold brew coffee infused with real fruits, flowers, and spices, allowing them to create unique flavors like Lavender Vanilla, Blueberry Orange Basil, Chocolate Cherry, & Elderberry Chai.
As a relatively new business, Devin and Nicholas had challenges getting capital to keep up with their business growth. They turned to ACE for a business loan to buy their own Loring Roaster after 2 years roasting their own coffee on a toll roaster. ACE capital also allowed them to open their own retail space in Blandtown & Hapeville, and to secure equipment, buildout costs, and operating capital.
The team worked with the UGA food science department to develop a way to make their coffee products shelf stable. They sell 32oz bottles in 2 retailers and online. They also sell 10oz bottles that do not have to be refrigerated in 15 retail locations in Atlanta.
