ACE’s 9th Annual Speed Coaching event held August 22nd in Atlanta was the perfect demonstration of the impact of Capital + Coaching + Connections. Over 50 Georgia entrepreneurs met with financial and business experts from the Atlanta area who volunteered as coaches to offer their experience and insights to the small-business owners looking for guidance.

Business owners come to Atlanta from all over to attend the fun, high-energy and informative evening, a truly one-of-a-kind interactive event. Speed coaching enables each registered business owner to meet one-on-one with at least three successful business leaders and expert coaches in 30-minute increments to discuss strategies and solutions for their businesses. The event allows business owners to share and gain knowledge, network, and increase their business acumen.

Feedback from some of the coaches …

  • “The entrepreneurs came in ready with powerful questions about scaling their businesses!”
  • “This is my first time attending and I want to be included next year again!”
  • “This is my 7th time coming and I enjoy it every time!”
  • “Thank you for inviting me yesterday (literally the day before) to cover for a coach that canceled… This is so important to me. I want to be here and support these small business owners.”

Feedback from some of the participants …

  • “I just had the most amazing coach help me figure out how to expand my business.”
  • “The tips that I received were amazing and so helpful”
  • “A coach came prepared with a folder full of suggestions on how to operate my business properly”
  • “I’ve gathered so much information that my head is about to explode!”
  • I can’t wait for next year!

“I was truly grateful for the many coaches who volunteered to share their expertise and insight with our business owners,” said Sandra Font, ACE Women’s Business Center Senior Director and coordinator of the Speed Coaching event. “Seeing the room packed with fully engaged entrepreneurs and coaches truly warmed my heart. We are making a difference in a very impactful way.”
