ACE Chief of Strategic Partnerships, Martina Edwards, has been honored as one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2022 Women of Influence. She is one of 21 accomplished women executives selected for the tremendous work they do growing companies, and paving the way for other women in leadership positions. Atlanta Business Chronicle recognizes 21 women who drive Atlanta business in all different industries and professions.
Edwards started her career in 2001 and became Merrill Lynch’s first Black female broker on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange in 2004. Since then, she has spent her time helping underrepresented entrepreneurs get access to capital. Edwards has helped nonprofit Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs secure more than $27 million in grant funding and is on track to surpass her fundraising goals for 2022. She is also an investor and advisor for Zane Venture Fund, which invests in early-stage startups founded by people of color.
