A Day in the Life of a Commercial Loan Officer with ACE
As a Commercial Loan Officer, you partner with businesses in your markets to help them reach their goals. You spend time building relationships based on trust and respect. You work hard networking so that you are the first to come to mind when businesses in our community have financial needs.
When businesses are ready, you collect information to perform a preliminary credit review and analysis concerning their needs. You originate and service a variety of commercial loans such as conventional, SBA Community Advantage, contractor, etc. You are conscientious about portfolio maintenance and loan administration in accordance with our policies. You maximize the profitability to ACE and propose strategies to mitigate risk.
You spend some time each day on the phone following up with prospects and referral partners. You also conduct site visits to inspect collateral and inventory. You work with other team members to resolve troubled loans. You take pride in meeting loan production goals.
You are both a number cruncher and a people person. Your days are full of networking, selling, analyzing, strategizing, problem solving, serving, and goal-setting. You feel great about providing exceptional client service and helping businesses in the community thrive.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business/finance or 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, finance, community development, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of lending experience
- Ability to show proven track record in sales
- Must reside in metro Atlanta area
